Indian General Visit Liberation War Museum

Former Indian armed forces personal visit in Bangladesh liberation War Museum. Indian Gen JFR Jacob leads the team of ten seniors Indian military officials who took part in the liberation war in 1971. Jacob share many things when he visiting museum. He said that he drafted Pakistani Gen. Niazi’s surrendered document adding that it was a public surrender rather than to the United Nation.” That means he surrender to the country’s people, which is unprecedented. After three days visiting of Bangladesh, UNDP administrator Kemal Dervis meet with journalist on the eve of his departure at the VIP terminal of ZIA International Air Port. Dervis said, negative perceptions about political stabilities would hurt the country’s development process and its economic growth. Jamuna Bridge

The country’s biggest construction project ever Jamuna Bridge built the Korean Hyundai construction firm in 1998. It has really generated a revolution in Bangladesh social and economic sectors. The Bridge was built at a cost of Tk 4,000 core, with an expected service life of 100 years, but presently several cracks found and many nuts and bolts used for holding the expansion joints of the bridges have come off.
